What is love?
I may be 13 but I think I know
Adults say we kids don't understand
yet
we were all forced to mature much faster
we know too much
we aren't taught how to handle our feelings
- pay attention to us-
We say we love people but do we truly understand
we understand
but to an extent
~ no one taught us ~

I put together this piece while thinking of my exes and what I think of love, for me love is confusing I struggle to say "I love you" to my own mother which is quite sad when you think about it because she loves me to death and I can't put together the courage to say it back. I wrote this on how kids in my generation don't get taught what love is and we must figure it out on our own
