Let it Be
The enlightenment era is history
But more so only three centuries ago
They prospered with greatness, for knowledge was key
They broke all the rules and became known as “the”
The scientist, the genius, the wizard
As someone with a brain
A sense of right from wrong
want to think for themselves, for I'm not a boring bog
Let me be the genius, who helps you and me
Let me be the outcast who is known by society
For I am Isaac Newton,
I told you where you are
Explained that were not the center of the universe
And made sure gravity was a law
Let this era be remembered
For the greatness it encountered
Let it be the time you remember
Change is soon to come
