Old Love
I know what you taste like
I know what you dream at night
I know it isn’t me
I know what you feel like
I know how bad you want her
I know she’s got it better
The smell of your cologne in her hair
And the taste of your lips on hers
It’s dumb of me to hope that you care
The memory of your love is a curse
Remember that football game so many years ago?
I wanted to hold on and never let go
I trembled and shook and every breath was fire on my neck
We loved each other then
