Christmas is a very joyful time of the year 

Filled with cookies, cocoa, caroling, and cheer

Stockings on the fireplace waiting to get filled

Children with a gingerbread house, ready to build

Beautiful presents and bright Christmas lights

Always shining on the cold winter nights

Though these things never cease to amaze 

But what is the real reason we celebrate these days

The reason we celebrate this time

is to celebrate the beginning of Jesus’ lifetime

On this very night, Jesus was born in straw

Which left everyone there in awe

Wise men brought gifts of myrrh, frankincense, and gold

Following the North Star which shined bright and bold

So this Christmas remember the real meaning we celebrate this time

And celebrate the beginning of Jesus’ lifetime.
