Happy Halloween
We wear our mask to hide
So they don’t identify us
We walk along the streets with candy in one hand
And a knife in another
We ask the kids “do you wanna play?”
“Do you want some candy?”
They run along beside us
Smiling
Laughing
We take them by their hands
And start to sing
“Georgie”
“Georgie”
The lights go out on the streets
And it becomes silent
Candy splatters on the black tar
But that’s not the only thing that hit the ground tonight
