It’s like
dipping your finger
in cool water,
the deepest,
Darkest,
fathoms of the sea.
It’s the rush
of ocean waves
and the
sharp,
Low,
moan of a bagpipe.
It’s deep Pacific,
The peaceful eyes
of a giant
And the smooth descent
Into sleep.
