Alone
Sitting in my room
Alone.
This time I have to myself
Leaves me to think,
Think of the times I was
Joyous.
The thoughts are filled
With amazing memories.
But at the same time
The memories
are being over
Taken by anger
And sorrow.
Almost Like the
two are at war
But painfully,
these terrifying
thoughts are
Too close to victory.
It feels as though I was the one
Who’s the reason my mother is
gone,
but I know that’s not true
I cry.
Sitting in my room
Alone.
