Ocean Tide Blue
Seeing the tall beautiful palm trees as I’m driving to beverly hills is fascinating.
As I'm walking down to the beach, I can already see the beauty of the blue ocean.
The feeling of the scorching hot sand burns my toes off.
When my brother jumps into the water and SPLASHES* me with cold salty water he makes me furious.
When it’s 100 degrees at the beach and the sun is screaming; you feel like you are burning inside an oven.
Don’t you get mad when your younger sibling splashes you with cold water over
and over
and over-
Well I for sure do.

This piece is a free-verse poem that I made during class. Everything that occurs in this poem did happen. This poem is about when I first went to the beach for the very first time.
