Memory
I look at most of my family members different now.
Their opinions make me sick.
Is it really that serious to turn on someone so quick?
My brother wants to go to the Marines, and my family is so against it.
Why take someone's happiness away with your cruel opinions?
Staying away from them is the best option, because they will get in his head
And try to change his decision.
Family is supposed to support you through everything, not bring you down to
Your lowest point.
Being a black man now a days isn't easy, I feel like my brother going to chase his dreams
Makes him a happier person.
Of course, I will miss him but it's better for someone to be gone and happy than to stay and
Be miserable.
My brother possibly fighting in a war is scary to me but if he wants to help save the world, I
Have to support him.
He is my best friend and not seeing him everyday will make life crazy, but everytime I think
Of him
I will remember he is being someone else's hero.

This is a very sensitive topic to me, and I know its sad, but this is probably my favorite I've written.
