The Christmas That War Stood Still
A
War Stood
Still on a single
Christmas Day
During the 1st World War
Even though the official truce
From Pope Benedict XV was turned
Into an unofficial truce by the
Soldiers on the battlefield on that day
They were not two different sides of the war
But equals celebrating a holiday meant for a time of
Peace all over the world - the year of 1914
And was not repeated until 4 years later in the
Month of November for an Armistice with the Allies
