I am from a home unknown
A place of love and hate
I am from the house next door
Teeming with crickets and dogs
From the night that brings peace
To the day that shines flowers
I am from the door well known
I am from the peace unfound
With grief and fear and hate
Hidden by a face of hope
Masked by a belief in love
I am from the pain you hold
From the night I find peace in chaos
Starting with the flood rolling through
The endless caves beginning to form
Allowing a quiet stream to flow
I am the torment you refuse to let go.
