Why Poems?

WHY POEMS?
Anything goes???
But I hate to write poems,
Why would I want to write a poem about anything.
I hate writing!
Why do I need to write a poem anyway?
Am I gonna be tested at my future job?
Why does it matter?
Who thought this was a good idea?
It doesn’t feel right writing a poem without rhymes.
Writing is so boring
Why does my future depend on it.
I wanna go home!
What half of these classes do for us anyway.
We go through 12 years of school,
To have to pay to go to school the next year?
Ugh…. I hate writing poems!
