Can we be a sunrise?
It feels like I’m Pluto and you’re
the sun
(but I’ll keep trying)
Maybe a blue moon, red moon
new moon, full moon, gibbous crescent,
waxing, waning, golden, gleaming,
Anything
My hope blooms like early winter
crocus,
(curious, excited, naïve)
(you know that you’re a blizzard)
Can I bulls*** my way into your
heart?
Just a metaphor, malaphor,
love me, an aside or a simile.
Something beautiful and paranormal would suffice.
