Déjà Vu
All my past lives
Looming over me in a dense fog
No need to get entangled
In memory’s luminous haze
A delusional, false hope
A fragment from a previous life
No way for me to know
My past is a kaleidoscope
Everything is new
But it still reeks of dreariness
I can’t shake that feeling of déjà vu
A sense I’ve been here before
Remembering a face I never knew
Don’t know what lies beyond the door
My words flow from a familiar stream
I recall them from my dreams
Is it all simply history?
I guess I’ll never know
It’s a mystery
