A House filled with Gloom
A small pitter patter
On the white windowsill
The days passed, day and night
But it felt like all life stood still
The kids played ball
The mailman rode his bike
The new moms pushed their strollers
And the little babies laughed while being pushed up that hike
But in that little house
Thunderstorms loomed
Rain fell
A house filled with gloom
Everyday people passed
What they saw was just another house
A lively house
But they never knocked or cared to look for what was inside
But if they had
They would have seen the true house
The house filled with gloom
