It’s funny to hear you talk about pain when ur the reason for mine

You talk about deceit when your the deceitful one

You talk about suffering when you caused mine

Before you there was sunshine outside my window

There were birds chirping in the tree

There was rain—but the sun always came out

More importantly—There was happiness

Now there just darkness

A never ending darkness that only I can see

There’s a big cloud of thunder hovering only over my head

I used to feel love, anger, sorrow

Now I feel nothing

I feel empty

I’m a corpse living inside a body

A body with no emotions

A body filled with pain and suffering

A body that you influenced

It hurts me to see your eyes that feel

No guilt

No regret

No pain

Will you ever realize your wrongdoings?

Will you ever say sorry?

Will you ever be punished?

I suppose both you and I know the answers to these questions

This piece took me the shortest amount of time to write however, it might have been the most heartfelt poem I have ever written. It led me to believe how easy it is to put down all your emotions onto a piece of paper instead of talking about them.
