Protective, Observant, Compassionate.
Lover of mercy, innocence, and determination.
Who feels heartbroken, sad, and disappointed.
Who needs to keep her family safe.
Her family complete,
Herself stable.
Who fears loss,
Who feels guilt.
One day all this will change.
When she sees,
That all her hard work and care was not wasted.

I wrote this piece for my loving mother. It was her birthday the day I wrote it and I sat for a long time thinking of a present to get her. I realized their is nothing better than words to express how you feel. So, I let the words in my mind flow onto the paper
