Infinity
Sparkling like diamonds in the sky, stars don’t last forever.
The future looks grim as one day, the light will be too bright.
The galaxy will meet its fiery demise of our sun’s suicide.
The endgame… a dark, doomed, and dreary galaxy.
Single crumbs strong enough to pull planets,
shift galaxies toward their shadowy center.
Slowly as earth’s yearly journey,
the many mysteries of the universe unfold.
The mysterious moon
rotates in the deep dark sky.
Clouds like scattered cotton,
coat the earth in freckles.
With the shiny sharp crescent moon
reflecting on water in the dark.
Vast darkness goes on forever,
as the twinkle of dots fade away.
Sudden streak of a comet...
a ball of fire, across the abyss.
