From Dusk 'til Dawn
The Darkness of the night slips into the dawn,
Robins chirp sweetly as the hooting of the owls fade away,
Slowly, the sun climbs higher into the sky,
Laying a golden carpet of dew on the grass,
Illuminating droplets on leaves of towering trees.
The stillness of night will soon be gone.
Scenic mountains will be home to the laughter of families on the long trails.
Some will come to explore;others to dream and reflect
The canyons, alpines, and prairies will excite many.
For others valley and coast are their calling.
Reaching destinations, their ecstasy will be hard to forget.
Many say it lasts an eternity.
Soon it will be windy and drizzly
But the darkness of the twilight,
The hooting of the owls,
The twinkling of stars millions of miles away
And the calmness of nature's sound are ones they love.
If you look within, you'll find more love for nature.
In nature itself.
