Heart Broken
“Break up with him!” Some say,
“I hope you stay together forever!” Others say
The one thing that can free me
The only thing that could kill me
He smothered me
She filled me
Like water kills a flame
Like a ditch when it rains
I am not me,
She has stayed the same,
He won’t leave
I will never leave
I don’t want him to touch me anymore
She loves my overabundant hugs and kisses
He broke down my walls
She hid her emotions
There was a door he could have come through
I had to break down the walls she built up
I just need a break,
She is just running from her problems
Please
She just needs time,
I’m broken.
She’s fine.

I am a 17-teen-year old who has always loved reading and writing. I went through a tough break up when I wrote this and so that is why there are two perspectives.
