American Dream
A family…
Mom,
Dad,
Daughter.
A family in an experience.
An experience remembered like 9/11.
Some good memories,
Some bad memories.
This one…
definitely bad.
Driving slower than Grandma,
Past the White House.
They see it start to shake.
All of a sudden,
It collapses.
The kids beforehand,
Laughing until possible hernia,
Now completely silent.
So many casualties,
So many tragedies.
“The White House has fallen.”
“The White House has fallen.”
“The terrorist group did it.”
“The terrorist group did it.”
Really though,
America did it to themselves.
