Life through my eyes
This is a very big world
7 continents
8 billion faces
And many different places
America
Is what I call home
America is the “land of the free”
But is it really
Poverty is plaguing the nation
Oppression is Normal
There has been more shootings
Than days in the year
And yet they wonder why we live in fear
Mothers are crying
Because kids are getting killed
Everyday we are reminded
Of the horror of blood being spilled
Gunpowder lingers in the air
But that’s just how it is
And no one seems to care
But that’s just how it is
Life just isn't fair
