I thrive off the busyness,

The feeling of crowds brushing past you
While you wander the streets aimlessly
The feeling is incomparable.

You take the path
Alongside the cracked concrete.
The sound of construction
Workers pounding away,
The outcome being a new building,
Neighboring the road.

The intertwining smells of
Fresh cooked hot dogs,
And coffee beans
waft up in your face.

The occasional honk
At people’s reckless driving
Preventing a near accident

Numerous individuals
Wearing questionable pieces
Fashion statements some may say

California is my definition of a comfortable hustle
Constantly active yet,
So relaxing
Being a place
Where my mind can stimulate infinitely and,
my steps can carry on endlessly.
