The Woman's Gaze

I am a woman with a man's eyes
watching the way I would love me
from the way I laugh and,
how I leave my hair trailing behind
or how seductive I tilt my head
even when I am alone
It is a strongest desire
to take a spoon,
carve out these eyes,
and replace them with my own
