Heroes is Distress
We’ve go this love
Time
Distance
Even death
Can't divide it
We are heroes in distress
Great ones
Cause we have great sorrow
Grief
Burden
And all of that makes a hero
We’re not invincible
But we are still heroes
Cause we fall
And cry
Get back up
But continue crying
I’m a hero
But I’m in distress
You’re a hero
In distress
We try to help people
Or at least I do
I’m a coward
At least an honest one
That’s what makes me a hero
A real hero is one that makes mistakes
But admits to them
I’m a hero
One filled with problems
We all do heroic things
But is how you do them that matter
It really does
You got to do them with pride
And courage
And mistakes
And losses
You have to be a hero that isn’t afraid to lose
I’m a hero
in distress
You’re a hero
In distress
Being a hero doesn’t mean winning
It means fighting
Even when your fighting for your own life
It’s important to fight for others
When my mind's going crazy
And I can hardly live on my own
Do things on my own
I’m a hero in distress
And I’ll help you if you’ve fallen
I fall
All of the time
What can I say
I’m clumsy
But I get up
Bloody and beaten
It's the thought that counts
I love you
And you love me
With our strength and courage
We can flip this wicked world
Upside down
One distasteful step
At
A
Time
I don’t believe in being your own hero
But being a hero for others
I believe in that
I’m a hero in distress
I’m hurting
And fighting
Maybe that’s what’s causing the pain in the first place
Whatever
Superman
Spider-Man
Batman
There not real heroes
Vasili Arkhipov
Norman Borlaug
Henrietta Lacks
Real heroes
But we idealize the cartoons
I can’t fly
Never could
So instead
I climb each and every treacherous step
Towards the damsel in distress
I’m a hero in distress
At least I think I am
I like to think that I am
We are heroes
But we’re not ready for war
Or combat
Or anything
We are heroes in distress
We need saving
But save instead
We’re heroes in distress
And all heroes fall
They all do
Slowly
We’re heroes
And we’ll fight the villains
Right up until the end
Of our miserable lives
Word are key
The deadliest weapon
No matter what others say
Words will always knock someone of their feet
You know the old saying?
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words will never hurt me
But, words can hurt
Cause unlike sticks and stones
They break the soul
Hello?
Do you hear me?
I need a little help
Sometimes I do
I act all tough
Like I don’t need help sometimes
It’s because
I’m a hero
Not a damsel
I may say I need help
Don’t help me
I don’t want it
I don’t need it
Except sometimes I do
It’s complicated
We’re heroes in distress
Soaring in the air
And one day
One day
We’ll fall
Today’s not that day
