Just for now
Once again, somehow, i can see you smile,
hear your laugh,
caress your face
hold your hand.
But my stomach churns and twists when i remember,
this is just for now,
not forever.
You promise me over and over again,
you won't let us fall apart,
you won't be taken from me,
like last time.
You said you'll never let me go again,
won't let me be blown away,
by the wind of despair,
that i won't loose myself again.
But i know deep, inside myself,
that never could come so soon,
too soon,
and you'll be gone,
and I'll be lost,
again.
Just for now, I'll let myself smile,
I'll let myself believe,
for now is forever
and i won't have to loose you again.
just for now,
i think i'll belive.
just for now.
