Begin
And with shaking hands, she began again. She took a breath, the very same breath that had kept her bright eyes open all these years; those eyes full of stars. The same breath that kept her soul aflame with love. She took a breath with lungs filled with flowers of the warmest colors, petals kissed by a burning curiosity. She took the voice she has released when she was young, the voice silenced by strong, envious hands, the voice bottled and forgotten; she took and swallowed it again. It found its place in her body again. It filled very inch of her and made itself in the soul it was always meant to be in. The voice became her and she became the voice. And she sang. With shaking hands and a still mind, with an ache for love and a settled heart, she sang with the voice that had once been silenced.
