Society's Wishes
"a blade to his wrist,
A blade to his thigh,
He is just just wondering is it ok if he dies?
This world is getting to him,
Throwing a ball at high speed,
And breaking the vase that is himself,
He is the debris,
Shattered and broken,
Torn apart,
Becasue society hates that he has captured another boys heart.
A girl is left in the debris's wake,
Her smile nothing but fake,
Her tears sting like acid,
Burning her face,
Her eyes betray,
She cant get over all the wicked things society says,
Something inside her tells her she is better off dead,
The girl stands,
Alone and depressed,
Waiting for love,
But not a man.
Society holds her back,
Controls her,
They create a puppet attached to her strings,
She attempts to break free,
Away from thier beliefs,
Cause she just wants to be a he.
He plays his role,
Straight as a pole,
Flirting with girls,
But hides himself from staring at guys,
Society would hate him,
He tells himself,
He must hide,
That he is bi.
She likes a guy,
She is small and shy,
Society likes her,
They are proud,
Her moms arent,
They call her a cow,
She wonders who will love her now?

This piece is dark yes, but in a sense it is the truth. People are often discrimited for being who they are which is wrong and honestly very upsetting. So I wrote about it.
