Breaking out in Red, White, and Blue

Patriotic people everywhere

Flags on the front side of every house

Cookouts and BBQs

Glow sticks, face paint

Big parties

you whole family is there

The day goes by while everyone's having fun

Then dusk hits and the sun goes down

People flee to the lake

Hike a mountain in the cold black air

Bright colors exploding in the sky

That all anyone can see a mile wide

Celebration fills the air

While everyone goes silent

We celebrate our country

And the people who fought

The people who are still deployed

And our friends next door

Everyone puts hate aside for one day

And the Country comes together as one

The finale finally hits

Endless exploding fireworks are lit

Then we go back home for a long night's rest

Have to go to work on monday everyone says

But for that moment everyone was calm

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite songs

A day I wait  for all year long

I love the summer and my family does a huge party every year. Every cook out food you can imagine is there. Someimes we go to the lake and sit on a boat and just watch fire works.
