The moon as bright, as wide, as my want of freedom
Freedom to be free of all things binding
Binding like the chains of a slave
Freeing like the wings of the extricate dove trapped in December
Finally fleeing in September
except
This isn't relieving
I can’t stop believing!
I won’t say but god forbid I’ll feel it, tomorrow, the next morning, Or the morning after:
The wickedness
