The great pacific garbage patch
Flooded with forgotten garbage and useless items
that we forget about in three seconds, but the ocean never will.
The coasts and beaches that make up our oceans,
Like veins to a heart.
From our single-use containers, plastic straws, and coffee cups.
If only the people saw.
The plastic and toxins we put into the ocean,
but nobody minds because it’s not a good caption.

but they could care less about the real ocean coast.
Because it's about more than the plastic,
and we have to act drastic
