Colors
I see the world in various shades of
Blue
Purple
The color I see outside of my window when I wake up
And the color of galaxies we have yet to explore
The color of my favorite shirt that I wear once a week
I see the world in various shades of
Orange
Red
Yellow
The color of the sunset that I watch every night
And the sunrise I can barely wake up for
The color of fire, and the way it dances so beautifully against the night sky
I see the world in various shades of
Green
Brown
The color of trees and flower stems
The fleeting beauty of spring
The feeling of refreshed and relaxed
I see the world in every color that there is to see
The yellow of the sun
The green of treetops
The orange of fruits and vegetables
The red of roses and hyacinths
The blue of the sky, water, and earth from far, far away
The brown of mud and tree bark
The white and black that represent life
The purple of galaxies
All these colors, fleeting yet perfect
The perfect description of life, bundled together
In a rainbow of colors
