eyes of sparta
I see my land filled with the ferocity of lions at the beckoning call of war.
The invaders speak of death for all and life for none and yet the still offer us peace.
They say they'll slaughter the women, children, the sheep, and the goes of my land.
This is a symbol of war, the people for the war drums to bellow, and for our the flag of Sparta to be held high. Our mothers, wifes, and children sing the songs of our victory; they speak about about our glory and death if we fall.
Our mothers tell us to come back with our shields in hand for there is only victory and death. We bleed the cries of war, we chant a deafening shout, and me make the bones of our foes trimble .
These wicked beast call us dogs, pigs, and savages for we will show them the wrath of Aries.
Our king fight among us not just a leader, but as a fellow lion on the hunt.
For our king talks with his sword, and he will drain the persians of their blood .
He leads us on the hunt for our prey to rip away the pride of the persian, for we stand as one, for we stand against our foe as one, for we are one, and we will die among the ages as the greatest army in history.
