Fear Drops
The cold water tickled my feet as I slowly contemplated my decision.
“Are you coming or what?” Marlo yells from across the way.
“Gimme a minute!” I frustratedly huffed back.
Step by step my feet began to move, plunging myself deeper and deeper into the greenish blue abyss.
My feet kicked and trashed, grasping at the bottom that was nowhere to be seen.
My heart starts to beat
harder
and
harder.
As I start to panic, my feet once again feel the solid ground.
My racing heart turns to a rush of adrenaline as I look around at the creek I had just conquered.
“See!”, shouted Marlo, “You can't let fear stop you from doing incredible things!”
