The Relations of It and Me
It’s slightly bigger than a St. Bernard 1
It’s what I want most in the world.
My dad always watches this entertainment
He wishes he could be more like him.
I pass someone by, and in their hand, 5
Is that red, yellow and blue toy,
That so infuriates me.
To fill me after working laboriously on that toy
I have a slice of this, with alfredo sauce on it.
To taste its amazing taste 10
I use this slimy, pink, bumpy thing for help.
On TV, I notice a symbol
That’s the complete opposite of zero.
And is it the fates of time
That roll that cube 15
Or do I just get the unlucky numbers.
To pass my time, I read one of these,
Sometimes there are pictures, other times not.
And sometimes when I’m mad I act like him,
And throw things around like his sand. 20
And all this happens here
Where anything is possible,
Where you decide your fate. 23
