The Seasons Can Tell us When to Cry
In days gone by and winds gone way
There is a fluttering to be found
One of warmth and one of rain
Together they make a sound
Of winds and strife
Of warmth and life
The winds may tell
us when to cry
In sun lost light
In daylights strife
The wind howls a fright
And gives us pain
And gives us rain
In which the sadness pours
Drops of rain pound hard again
And come knocking at our doors
In bristling trees and fluttering seas
The sounds come through as why
The seasons can tell us when to cry
The sun light pours
The clouds gone way
The streams of light are full
The sun, all light,
Picks us through
Up and up and gone
In days gone by and winds gone way
There is a fluttering to be found
One of warmth and one of rain
Together they make a sound
Of winds and strife
Of warmth and life
The winds may tell
us when to cry
