How You Feel
Please don’t ask me
what I’m doing,
then go along
and act like you never did.
Please don’t tell me
you want to hang out,
and then, eventually,
tell me a fib
About how you are busy,
or how you aren’t hungry,
or how you’re too tired,
(you use that one that a lot).
Please,
be truthful with me
and when I ask if you’re up to being with me,
just tell me you’re not.
The worst thing ever
is when you feel someone leaving,
detaching themselves
from your soul.
You know they are going
and there’s nothing you can do to stop them
So they walk away
And leave a dark hole
In place of where
Your heart once belonged
Sadness is
setting in.
The one you have feelings for and
thought
had feelings for you
will never talk to you again.
