Why I Write
I must.
I can’t keep everything in
When connections are fewer than cures for cancer.
And my burdens run deeper than roots of a wild fig tree.
Formulating thoughts of my brain are then transferred to paper.
It’s release is violent
Like a hurricane crashing ashore.
My burdens have found tranquility.

I just like to write about what goes on in my life and try to make sense of it. This poem basically states that in a more creative way.
