A Lake Day

The heat from the sun
striking the lake,
Warming it
and reflecting off the surface
The breeze in the air
is cool
yet warm at the same time
Swaying the flowers and trees
There are colors everywhere--
in the flowers
and the rocks
Brightening the world around me
The sky is clear
and birds are chirping
singing their own songs
The day is as perfect as it can get
