To have a life anywhere
(With you, of course)
Is a life well lived.
I daydream
Of Buying apples from corner stores
Peeling oranges on the porch
Sunbeams burn our freckled noses
To laugh in the presence of you
Plump sofas underneath us
a dimly lit tv screen
Filling our dark room
Filling our dark moods
Take me anywhere with you.
And I’ll blend like a chameleon
Or the worlds biggest paintbrush
I’ll change my every molecule
Only to daydream of
drinking glass bottles of coke
And dancing at 3am
And catching fireflies in the backyard
With you.
