Society Loves Killing
Society is so cruel
Telling us who we are
By the way we dress
By the scars on our wrists
Society telling us that we won't become successful
Off these collections of
So called
Poetry
Society, playing us like we are a damn game
Like we are the little pieces that move from space to space
Telling us where we stand
Where we belong
Society who judges who we are
because of who we have been
in our pasts
Who decides what we can be
by what we have been
before
Society judges you
And you live with the feeling of being too poor
to afford a life
And they look down on you
like you don’t mean anything at all
Society portraying discrimination
by treating a man different for his skin color?
Like he doesn’t deserve as much as a man of no color
Like his family is not as important
Like he is too dumb to speak up against them
Society, killing off it's own people
So many deaths
killing its children by getting in their heads
and making them feel they are not good enough
The children feel so out of place
Feeling like they're pushed around
And end their own lives
Society, falling down on our people
Poisoning their minds
Like acidic rain
Ridding our minds of any hopes or goals
Dreams, society loves killing
