Beautiful but Deadly

Floating in the abyss
In the great big sea
A shadow in the water
That anyone can see
Floating about
Causing no great harm
eating zooplankton
And roaming til noon
But getting too close
Will be a burden for you
When it takes its arms
And stings you
But the pain will go away
And the memory will stay
Especially the length
Since it is
18 feet
