Unknown
A sweet little boy,
off on his own,
Demanding an adventure,
From the Unknown.
New and exciting.
Terrifying and scary.
Afraid,
Not knowing what's to come,
From the vast Unknown.
Moving forward,
but at the same time,
looking back.
Floating through the dreary sky,
And waving a solemn goodbye,
Going away,
For a long, long time.
This charming little boy.
Dubious and oblivious,
As to what was to come,
Leaving his home,
Slipping through the heavy clouds,
into the Unknown.
His home; a sad rock,
Jutting from the sea.
Jagged and rough,
Large and gray,
But yet, still home to,
That charming little boy,
Who’s vanishing into the Unknown.
High up in his balloon,
Leaving the gloom,
Of his dreary,
But yet ever so loved,
Home.
Off to the Unknown.
That sweet little boy.
