Sadly I sit
As time passes by,
Ticking slowly.
Long hours in rain,
Spent waiting for you.
The park bench grows cold,
It misses your presence.
My ears ring in the silence,
They miss your laugh.
My eyes scan intensely,
They yearn to see your smile.
The atmosphere is different,
It misses your soul.
My heart feels empty,
It misses your love.
I can't stand waiting,
But for you it is worth my time.
