To the Ones Who Never Cared
Hit Me,
No I do not want you to, but with those daggers in your eyes,
It’ll happen anyway…
I beg, plead, and cry
But your voice rings silver,
Like tinkling bells as you mock me
“Stay down you mutt!”
Kick
“You should die”
Punch
“You’re worthless”
Spit
I lay bruised and broken as you burst into unashamed laughter.
“Who were you anyway?” You cackle as you walk away.
I get up and stumble off,
Store away what’s left of my tears for another life,
But still I think
Maybe they were right,
I am nothing, I never was,
CLICK
Cold barrel, heavy metal
Free at last
BOOM
But to what cost…
Yes I did this,
But you helped bring me here,
Hope you’re happy.
