Azure Symphony
Sunday morning, I open my eyes
and looked out the window to see
two blue emperor butterflies
who fluttered under the tree.
I grabbed my phone and ran outside
and snapped a picture as they flew.
Fluttered wings, deep sea dyed.
Oh, how I loved their ocean blue.
Every journey ends, only to start anew,
full of opportunities that I want to get.
My dreams that grew wings and flew
that I keep on trying to chase after.
As my passion cruised the skies,
I remember a promise I told myself.
I hear my heart’s happy cries,
because my dream will soon come true.
Restless, I fluttered my wings,
Free of any binding strings.
I am free to think, free to dream
No matter how impossible it may seem.
