All Eyes On Me
Everytime I walk in a room I feel like all eyes are on me
Why, well I mean just look at me
I must stand out if I caught your attention
Was it the smile? how i talk? how I walk?
or more likely, how I dress?
They say I dress and act out of the norm
but I think I am perfectly fine
I’ve been told that women are to wear women’s clothing
and men are to wear men’s clothing
That’s how it’s supposed to be, no ifs ands or buts
Many people automatically think I’m gay
from the way that I dress and look
Wow, that’s crazy right
Never have I been the girly type
dresses, barbie dolls, and makeup are not my thing
A girl who acts and dresses like a boy
they label me a tomboy
I hate jeans but I love sweats
My perfect grey North Face hoodie and white beaters are my go to look
They say it’s wrong but it feels so right
I feel the most comfortable when i’m being myself
