Through the Years
I remember the days
filled with laughter and joy,
and a childhood so great.
I wish life was still the same.
In high school, I was the victim,
the one who others hated.
Bullied and made fun of,
I couldn’t wait to graduate.
From there I found a job,
to which I devoted my life.
I worked and worked some more,
but no one saw my value.
Today I am finally retiring.
I am so happy to get to rest.
This is my life so far,
not much more until the end.
