Remember when
I remember …
we would take silly pictures on a small blue kodak camera.
you'd throw me across the pool while i'd scream my head off.
we’d play hide n seek in the dark and i’d always be with you even if you were it
I remember…
when you told me I could be mary poppins, and of course I believed you
and us turning the music up really loud for us to jam out to
us playing basketball and you thought you were Michael Jordan.
we’d ride our bikes down the huge hill and regret having to ride them back up.
I remember…
we went outside and i drove your car down the hill, and almost crashed but didn't
you let me not take my medicine because you think it's useless,
and later we went bowling and I was crazy out of control.
the night I got scared, I woke you up and you tricked me into falling asleep.
I remember…
we would make smores together, you made fun of my “golden” marshmallow
and you'd always cook me those tostitos cheese pizzas that were so good.
the cup pong game with hannah and ryan
and the day you and mom told me hannah died
I remember…
all of the good and bad memories
and all the memories that were never made
not seeing you again until last summer,
but most importantly nothing
