Letting Go
Sometimes holding on hurts more then letting go.
Or so I’ve heard.
But what if you don’t want to let it go?
What if letting it go will destroy you just as much.
No more, no less.
Should I let go
Or hold on?
Feels like I am drowning with all this confusion.
If I hold on this wave may sink me.
If I let go I won’t be able to swim.
I can’t do this on my own.
Now the water is filling around me.
It’s time to make my final decision.
Either way I am not getting out,
Either way I am going to sink.
It is just the decision to determine how.
And now I can feel the water fill my lungs.
Hurting to breathe,
Hurting to think.
I loosen my grip.
But still holding on is on my mind. What should I do?
Hold on
Or
Let go?
